Operations & Reception Manager

The Dance Foundation is seeking an organized, energetic, and customer-focused professional to serve as its next Operations & Reception Manager.
This full-time position is a key member of the leadership team and serves as the central hub for daily operations, customer service, facility coordination, studio rentals, scheduling, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be a systems thinker who enjoys working with people, improving processes, and helping a mission-driven organization operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations and provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and via email
- Oversee studio rentals, including scheduling, contracts, invoicing, and customer communication
- Maintain the organization's master calendar and coordinate facility usage
- Supervise reception staff
- Manage office, retail, and facility inventory and supplies
- Coordinate facility maintenance and vendor relationships
- Support organizational systems, workflows, and communications
- Assist with special events, performances, and community programs
- Provide administrative support to leadership and organizational initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience supervising staff
- Proficiency with office technology and digital systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a creative, community-centered environment
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in the arts or nonprofit sector is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $45,000 annually

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday–Friday, generally 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Occasional evening and weekend availability required for events and programs
